Greensboro Monarchs In-Game Intro
A cinematic in-game intro video reintroducing the Greensboro Monarchs through 3D animation, archival visuals, and synchronized motion design.
Noise Prompts - Monarchs
A set of experimental animations reinterpreting the Monarchs identity through contrasting nostalgic visual styles. Directions draw from classic hockey video games, using pixel-accurate, sprite-based animation and a limited color palette to recreate a retro aesthetic. As well as early 3D visuals through simplified forms and exaggerated, rubber-like materials, resulting in a more playful and stylized motion language.
Matchup Card
A broadcast-style matchup graphic inspired by ESPN presentation, built using 3D logo animation and dynamic camera movement. Developed in Blender and refined in After Effects, the piece integrates an archival photo montage of the original Greensboro Monarchs, enhanced with animated patterns inspired from the team’s visual history.
Second Period Warmup Counter
A second period countdown graphic designed as a more restrained extension of the main intro visuals using the same 3D style and motion language.
